An inexperienced Aztec attack end struggled to execute accurate passes & get free, making hard work of the first quarter.

In an attempt to get points on the board, Coach Hauraki rang the changes introducing youngster Sarah Inkster and utilizing Marcia Bennett in the midcourt - making an instant improvement.
½ time score: 14 – 32 MAGs

An injury in the 3rd quarter again forced Hauraki to make changes to the defence end.  Stephanie Campbell working hard to pressure her opposition, creating several turnovers for her team.  
¾ score:  20 – 52 MAGs

More changes were made in the last quarter, with a new untried defensive unit making their debut in the defensive circle for Aztec.

Coach Hauraki said after the game “Marcia played a nice steady game showing good leadership and supporting her young charges, linking well with Stephanie and Sarah.”

Aztec faces off against College Rifles on Friday, 27th April 6.30pm at Rosehill College.
